Camden County Public Library has two group study rooms. The library allows the use of the group study rooms for civic, educational, and philanthropic purposes. Use of the group study room must not interfere with the operation of the library. Meetings that would interfere with the work of the library because of noise or other factors will not be permitted.

Reservations:

 Reservations are kept in an appointment book at the circulation desk.

  • Group study rooms can be reserved by patrons on a first come, first served basis.
  • For fairness to all patrons, study rooms can only be reserved one week in advance.
  • Patrons may reserve a group study room by phone or in person.
  • Each room reservation is limited to:
    • Monday through Friday – 2 hours from 9a-2p and 1 hour from 3p-6p.
    • Saturday – 1 or 2 hours from 9a-1p
  • The number of people in a group is limited to five.
  • If the patron is over 15 minutes late, their reservation may be cancelled.

Please call the library for cancellations and changes to your reservation.

Rules For Use:

  • Group study rooms can only be used during normal library hours.
  • The number of times these rooms may be scheduled each month will be based on demand.
  • Absolutely no tape, tacks, or other materials are to be used to post study items or notices on walls or windows.
  • The library is not responsible for articles left in any part of the study rooms.
  • After using the room, ensure lights are turned off and everything is left neat, clean, and undamaged.

Privileges may be refused or cancelled for failure to observe rules and regulations of the group study room policy.
