Wednesday, January 22 and Thursday, January 23
The library will re-open
on Friday, January 24 at 10:00am.

Join us for a 2-day fun and creative workshop, led by professional mixed media artist Maria Geary from Relaxing in Art. Ms. Geary will lead the group in creating their own art journal using a Japanese book-binding method. She will then show the group a few different journaling and mixed media techniques to best express everyone's creative side.

*Please note* This workshop takes place over two consecutive days. If you register for the program, plan on being present for both days to get the most out of the experience.

This project was supported by the North Carolina Arts Council, a division of the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources.
Join us every other Friday at the library for a relaxing hour or two working on a jigsaw puzzle! We are reserving one of our study rooms for community members to enjoy one of our donated 1000 piece puzzles. At the end of every session, the puzzle will be rolled into a puzzle mat to preserve its shape.
This program is free and open to the public, and intended for people of all ages. For more information, please call the library at (252) 331-2543.
