Due to Camden Public Library is an offical polling place of the Courthouse Precinct, curbside services will be unavailble on Tuesday, November 3rd for Election Day. Library staff will not be available to answer calls and requests.

Camden Public Library will be closed for curbside services and to answer phone calls on Wednesday, November 11th in observance of Veterans Day. The library will continue to operate under current COVID-19 restrictions, Thursday, November 12th until further notice.

Book Bundles for Children

Phase 3 of the COVID-19 restrictions:

The library and community meeting room will continue to be closed to the public until further notice.

Staff will be on-site to answer patron questions and process requests from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday.

Library Materials Requests:

Call 252-331-2543, or by visiting www.earlibrary.org , using your library card number and PIN. If you do not have a PIN or do not remember it, please call the library for assistance. Once your request has been processed, library staff will call you to make an curbside appointment for pick-up. Appointments will be scheduled in 15 minute intervals and requested items will be placed outside in crate with your name attached to a plastic bag.

For your safety and ours, please return all materials to the book drop outside of the library. Staff will wear masks and properly sanitize hands before and after handling all materials. There will be a 72 hours quarantine for all returned materials, but no overdue fees will result from this waiting period.

Copies, Prints, Fax Requests:

Call 252-331-2543. To send a printing request, email your document as an attachment to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Please include your full name and phone number in the email message so a library staff member can contact you to schedule a curbside appointment when your items are ready for pickup. 

Our printing and copying prices are $.10 per page for black and white and $.25 per page for color.

Fax prices are for the first ten pages:$1.00 for local and toll-free and $1.25 for long distance. For additional pages: $.10 per page.

You must have exact change for your transaction; we are unable to make change in the library.

Copies, prints and faxes will be placed in a manilla envelope with your name, number of pages and amount due.
