  • 18th Annual MLK Unity Celebration

    Come celebrate the 18th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Unity Celebration.

    Unity Walk starts at 10:30 a.m. from Grandy Primary School to Camden High School. Martin Luther Kings Celebration starts at 11:30 a.m. followed by a complimentary lunch at 12:30 p.m. This is a free event and open to the public.

  • 2019 Paddle to the Border

    16th Annual Paddle to the Border

    This 16th annual event celebrates the canal’s rich history, which dates to 1763 when George Washington’s land company first surveyed the swamp before commissioning the waterway’s construction. In the 19th century, the canal’s dense wetlands provided refuge for slaves traveling the Underground Railroad before continuing their journey north

    Interested in participating? Like spring’s arrival, enthusiasm for Paddle for the Border begins building early.

    Event Date:  Saturday, May 4th, 2019.

    Registration opens January 2, 2019. The event is limited to the first 375 participants and fills up quickly due to its popularity.

    Open Registration : January 2 - April 5, 2019. (Online, Walk In or Drop Off, Mail) Registration Fee: $40 per person (not refundable unless event is canceled)

    Late Registration : April 6, 2019 - Until Full.  (Online Only)  Add $10 Late Fee.

    Memorial Day Flag Ceremony

  • Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

    Monday, December 2nd at 5:30 p.m. at the Historic Courthouse Lawn

    Join us for our annual Christimas Tree Lighting Celebration. Come out and take a photo in Santa's Sleighand sing a few Christmas Carols. Refreshments provided for all afterward at the Camden County Center for Active Adults (formerly Senior Center).

    Please bring canned food items to be donated to the local food pantry.

  • South Mills Christmas Parade

    South Mills Annual Christmas Parade will be on December 7th at 11:00 a.m. The route starts from the drawbridge and ends at the Paradise Family Grocery. Applications are being accepted until November 25th to participate in the parade. Please click on the following link to download and print an application.
