    Baby Storytime

    This storytime is for ages birth to 2 years-old (Must be accompanied by a parent)

    • Free and open to the public. No registration is required. 

    Join us for Baby Storytime every Tuesday at 10:00 AM.

    We will be reading stories, sharing early literacy tips, and singing songs!

    There will be time for free play with the library's collection of baby toys at the end of each session.

    Toddler Storytime

    This storytime is for ages 2 to 4 years-old (Must be accompanied by a parent)

    • Free and open to the public. No registration is required.
    Join us for Toddler Storytime every Wednesday at 10:30 AM.
    We will be reading stories, sharing early literacy tips, singing songs and playing games!
    A small craft will be offered at the end of each storytime session.

    Big Kid Storytime

    This storytime is for ages 4 to 6 years-old (Must be accompanied by a parent)

    • Free and open to the public. No registration is required.
    We will be reading stories, sharing early literacy tips, singing songs and playing games!
    There will be a small craft available at the end of each storytime session.
     

  • 02:00pm - 04:00pm  Library Mixed Media Art Drop-in

    Click here to register for this 2-day workshop, Thursday, February 6th and Friday, February 7th from 2:00pm - 4:00pm. This program is free and open to the public, and intended for people aged 16 and older.

    Join us for a 2-day fun and creative workshop, led by professional mixed media artist Maria Geary from Relaxing in Art. Ms. Geary will lead the group in creating their own art journal using a Japanese book-binding method. She will then show the group a few different journaling and mixed media techniques to best express everyone's creative side.

    This project was supported by the North Carolina Arts Council, a division of the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources.

    Join us every other Friday at the library for a relaxing hour or two working on a jigsaw puzzle! We are reserving one of our study rooms for community members to enjoy one of our donated 1000 piece puzzles. At the end of every session, the puzzle will be rolled into a puzzle mat to preserve its shape.
