    The Friends of the Library meeting at 2 p.m. The public is invited to attend.

  • 05:00pm  Library Upcycled Holiday Wreath Workshop - Adults

    This event is free and open to the public, and is intended for teenagers and adults ages 16 and older.
    Join us for an evening of holiday cheer, as we craft handmade holiday wreaths using upcycled book pages!
    This is a keepsake that will be sure to bring a smile to your face for years to come.

  • 10:00am  Library Baby Storytime

    Baby Storytime

    This storytime is for ages birth to 2 years-old (Must be accompanied by a parent)

    • Free and open to the public. No registration is required. 

    Join us for Baby Storytime every Tuesday at 10:00 AM.

    We will be reading stories, sharing early literacy tips, and singing songs!

    There will be time for free play with the library's collection of baby toys at the end of each session.

    Toddler Storytime

    This storytime is for ages 2 to 4 years-old (Must be accompanied by a parent)

    • Free and open to the public. No registration is required.
    Join us for Toddler Storytime every Wednesday at 10:30 AM.
    We will be reading stories, sharing early literacy tips, singing songs and playing games!
    A small craft will be offered at the end of each storytime session.
     

  • 03:30pm  Library Annual Christmas Program

    You're invited to the library's Christmas Program, featuring a performance by Shepherd Shakespeare Company, an acting workshop, and a library scavenger hunt! 

    This project was supported by the North Carolina Arts Council, a division of the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources.

    • Free and open to the public. No registration is required.
    We will be reading stories, sharing early literacy tips, singing songs and playing games!
    There will be a small craft available at the end of each storytime session.
