    Join us for another exciting Lego Club Monday! Have your child drop in and make their own Lego masterpiece to be displayed in the library!

    Baby Storytime

    This storytime is for ages birth to 2 years-old (Must be accompanied by a parent)

    • Free and open to the public. No registration is required. 

    Join us for Baby Storytime every Tuesday at 10:00 AM.

    We will be reading stories, sharing early literacy tips, and singing songs!

    There will be time for free play with the library's collection of baby toys at the end of each session.

  • 03:30am - 05:30pm  Library Art Journal Session

    Are you a creative teen looking to express yourself through art? Then this workshop is perfect for you! Maria Geary, a talented artist, will be guiding participants through the process of creating their own art journal. Starting from scratch with basic bookbinding techniques, this two-day workshop allows you to find your artistic voice!
     
    The dates for this workshop are Wednesday, May 1st & Thursday, May 2nd at 3:30pm. Registration is required. Please note that attendance for BOTH days of the workshop is necessary for a completed product.

  • 08:00am - 01:00pm  19th Annual Paddle for the Border

    19th Annual Paddle for the Border 2024!

    In early spring hundreds of paddlers launch their vessels into the Dismal Swamp Canal’s dark, mirrored waters. This historic waterway serves as the backdrop for Paddle for the Border, an annual 7.5-mile paddling excursion to the North Carolina/Virginia border.
