  • 02:00pm  Friends of the Library Meeting

    The Friends of the Library meeting at 2 p.m. The public is invited to attend.

  • 07:00pm  Board of Commissioners

    The Camden County Board of Commissioners will meet in the boardroom of the Camden Public Library on March 4, 2024 at 7:00 PM for its Regular Meeting, with a Closed Session at 6:30 PM to consult with the County Attorney.  The Board of Commissioners will also convene as the South Camden Water & Sewer District Board of Directors during the Regular Meeting.

    All Regular Meetings are held in the boardroom of the Camden Public Library (118 Hwy 343 North), Camden County, North Carolina, 27921.  Special accommodations for the disabled who would like to attend public meetings can be made by contacting the Clerk to the Board at least 24 hours in advance at 252-338-6363.

  • 10:00am - 01:00pm  Family Literacy Festival

    Join us for our 2nd annual Camden County Public Library to celebrate literacy! You will be able to meet all your local literacy agencies and bring home a free book!
    We will also be offering:
    ***Storytimes and read-alouds
    ***Meet and greets with local children's authors
    ***Arts and crafts
    ***Movement activities
    ***Library Card Assistance for Pasquotank and Camden County residents
    ***Lemonade from The Neon Lemon (for a fee)
    This event will take place inside the library’s Community space.
    This event is free, open to the public, and intended for families and children of all ages. It is a collaborative effort between The Villages of Northeast North Carolina, Camden County Public Library, and Pasquotank County Library.
