  • 02:00pm  Friends of the Library Meeting

    The Friends of the Library meeting at 2 p.m. The public is invited to attend.

  • 07:00pm  Board of Commissioners - November 6, 2023

    The Camden County Board of Commissioners will meet in the boardroom of the Camden Public Library on November 6, 2023 at 7:00 PM for its Regular Meeting, with a Closed Session at 6:00 PM to discuss personnel and consult with the County Attorney.  The Board of Commissioners will also convene as the South Camden Water & Sewer District Board of Directors during the Regular Meeting.

    All Regular Meetings are held in the boardroom of the Camden Public Library (118 Hwy 343 North), Camden County, North Carolina, 27921.  Special accommodations for the disabled who would like to attend public meetings can be made by contacting the Clerk to the Board at least 24 hours in advance at 252-338-6363.

  • 10:00am  Library Baby Storytime

    Baby Storytime

    This storytime is for ages birth to 2 years-old (Must be accompanied by a parent)

    • Free and open to the public. No registration is required. 

    Join us for Baby Storytime every Tuesday at 10:00 AM.

    We will be reading stories, sharing early literacy tips, and singing songs!

    There will be time for free play with the library's collection of baby toys at the end of each session.

  • 10:30am  Library Toddler Storytime

    Toddler Storytime

    This storytime is for ages 2 to 4 years-old (Must be accompanied by a parent)

    • Free and open to the public. No registration is required.
    Join us for Toddler Storytime every Wednesday at 10:30 AM.
    We will be reading stories, sharing early literacy tips, singing songs and playing games!
    A small craft will be offered at the end of each storytime session.
     

  • 03:30pm  Library STEM Storytime

    Join us for a special STEM storytime!
     
    Ms. Rachel will be reading "Iggy Peck, Architect" by Andrea Beatty, after which everyone will get a chance to make their own architectural design using straw construction sets! Table top sets as well as a larger version will be available, and the table top constructions will go on display in the library.
     
    This program is free and open to the public, and is intended for children ages 5 and up.

    Big Kid Storytime

    This storytime is for ages 4 to 6 years-old (Must be accompanied by a parent)

    • Free and open to the public. No registration is required.
    We will be reading stories, sharing early literacy tips, singing songs and playing games!
    There will be a small craft available at the end of each storytime session.
     

  • 11:00am  Veterans Day Ceremony

    Honoring all those who have served

    2023 Veterans Day Ceremony - Flag raising and prayer

    We invite all Veterans and the community to join us in tribute to Veterans and Military Service Members
