1) FY 2022-2023 Proposed Budget & 2022-2026 Capital Improvement Program
Pursuant to NCGS 159-12(b), the Camden County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Monday, June 6, 2022 at 7:00 PM in the boardroom of the new Camden Public Library located at 118 NC Hwy 343 North in Camden, NC for the purpose of receiving public input regarding the Fiscal Year 2022-2023 Proposed Budget and 2022-2026 Capital Improvement Program, which has been submitted to the Board of Commissioners and filed with the clerk. A copy of the FY 22-23 Proposed Budget is kept on file for public inspection in the clerk’s office located at 330 East Highway 158 in Camden, NC.
2) Proposal to Purchase Property for the Construction of a New High School
The Camden County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on June 6, 2022 at 7:00 PM, or as soon thereafter as practical, in the boardroom of the new Camden Public Library located at 118 NC Hwy 343 in Camden, NC for the purpose of receiving public input regarding the purchase of property. The property under consideration is located approximately 0.5 miles east of the NC Hwy 158 and NC SR 34 intersection and consists of 194 acres, of which 60-70 acres would be designated for the construction of a new high school. The purchase price for the property is Twenty-Five Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($25,000) per acre (rounded to the nearest thousandth of an acre).
