Pursuant to Article 151.551 of the Camden County Code, please be advised the Camden County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 for consideration of South Mills Landing Planned Development Major Subdivision. The public hearing is at 7:00 PM or soon thereafter as the agenda will allow in the upstairs courtroom of the Historic Camden County Courthouse. On the agenda is the Land Use Application (UDO 2020-01-36)/Ordinance No. 2020-09-02 for Master Plan and Preliminary Plat along with Ordinance No. 2020-09-01 for the Development Agreement between the County and South Mills Landing, LLC for South Mills Landing Planned Development Major Subdivision.
South Mills Landing Subdivision will be a Planned Development with 383 single family units and 197 multifamily units with 5.5 acres of commercial area. The subdivision consists Tract I – tax parcel # 017989004312900000 located northeast of Horseshoe Rd./east of Hwy 1; and Tract II - tax parcel # 017988014928370000, located east of Main Street and on the north and south sides of Union Camp Rd. Both tracts are in South Mills Core Village, in South Mills Township.
The Development Agreement includes County providing water and sewer services based on applicants submitted development schedule.
The meeting will be live-streamed to the county website and a copy of the plans and supporting documentation is available at the Camden County Planning Office or from the Camden County Website (camdencountync.gov) under the Department of Planning, Zoning, and Flood.
The public is invited to attend and make comments to the board. The most effective way of making public comments on this project is to email, fax, or call the Planning Department by Friday September 4, 5:00 pm. Comments must include the sender’s first/last name and address and will be read aloud at the meeting.
