Proposed FY 2024-2025 Budget & 2024-2029 Capital Improvement Program
Pursuant to NCGS 159-12(b), the Camden County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Monday, June 3, 2024 at 7:00 PM, or as soon thereafter as practical, in the boardroom of the Camden Public Library located at 118 NC Hwy 343 North in Camden, NC for the purpose of receiving public input regarding the Fiscal Year 2024-2025 Proposed Budget and 2024-2028 Capital Improvement Program, which has been submitted to the Board of Commissioners and filed with the clerk. A copy of the FY 24-25 Proposed Budget is kept on file for public inspection in the County Clerk’s office located at 330 East Highway 158 in Camden, NC.
Camden Yards LLC Application for Zoning Map Amendment
Pursuant to Article 151.2.2.6 of the Camden County Unified Development Ordinance, the Camden County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Monday, June 3, 2024 at 7:00 PM or soon thereafter as the agenda will allow. The meeting will be held in the boardroom of the Camden Library. On the agenda for consideration is the Camden Yards LLC request of a Zoning Map Amendment from Highway Commercial and Light Industrial zoning districts to Planned Development zoning district (UDO 2024-02-103) for the rezoning of approximately 1010 acres of property located on the southeast corner of US Hwy 17 and Ponderosa Drive in the South Mills Township. The meeting will be live streamed to the county website and a copy of the plans and supporting documentation is available at the Camden County Planning Office or from Camden County Website (camdencountync.gov) on the home page. The public is invited to attend and make comments to the board. After the public hearing any changes may be made to the application.
