Orange Pumpkin LLC Rezoning Request
MEETING UPDATE: THE APPLICANT HAS WITHDRAWN THIS REQUEST AND THE AGENDA WILL BE AMENDED AT THE OCTOBER 3RD MEETING TO REFLECT THIS CHANGE.
Pursuant to Article 151.2.2.6 of the Camden County Unified Development Ordinance, the Camden County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Monday, October 3, 2022 at 7 pm, or soon thereafter as the agenda will allow. The meeting will be held in the Boardroom of the Camden Library Building at 118 NC Hwy 343 N. On the agenda for consideration is Ordinance 2022-10-01, a rezoning application (UDO 2022-06-07 from Orange Pumpkin LLC to rezone approximately a 97-acre parcel at 242 Keeter Barn Road, located in the South Mills Township. The request is for a zoning map amendment from Rural Residential (RR) to Suburban Residential (SR) zoning district.
The meeting will be livestreamed to the county website. A copy of the plans and supporting documentation is available at the Camden County Planning Office or from Camden County Website (camdencountync.gov) on the home page. The public is invited to attend and make comments to the board. After the public hearing any changes may be made to the application.
Meadows at North River Crossing Major Subdivision - Preliminary Plan

The meeting will be held in the Boardroom of the Camden Library Building at 118 NC Hwy 343 N. On the agenda for consideration is Ordinance 2022-10-02, a rezoning application (UDO 2022-05-038).
The Preliminary Plan for the Meadows at North River Crossing Major Subdivision consists of 23 single family lots located on the west side of Sandy Hook Rd, the north side of Ditch Bank Road and borders the existing subdivision of North River Crossing. The two parcels consisting of 28.57-acres are located in the Shiloh township.
