Rezoning Request

Pursuant to Article 151.2.2.6 of the Camden County Unified Development Ordinance, the Camden County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Monday, August 1, 2022 at 7 pm, or soon thereafter as the agenda will allow. The meeting will be held in the boardroom of the new Camden Public Library. On the agenda for consideration is Ordinance 2022-08-01, a rezoning application (UDO 2022-06-09) from Waverly Sawyer to rezone approximately 1-acre parcel at 872 NC Hwy 343 N and approximately 9 acres from an adjoining parcel to the north west, 10 total acres, located in the South Mills Township. The request is for a zoning map amendment from Highway Commercial (HC) to Neighborhood Residential (NR) zoning district. The meeting will be livestreamed to the county website and a copy of the plans and supporting documentation is available at the Camden County Planning Office or from the Camden County Website (camdencountync.gov) on the home page. The public is invited to attend and make comments to the board. After the public hearing any changes may be made to the application.

 

Ordinance Text Amendments

Pursuant to Article 151.2.2.6 of the Camden County Unified Development Ordinance, the Camden County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Monday, August 1, 2022 at 7 pm, or soon thereafter as the agenda will allow. The meeting will be held in the boardroom of the new Camden Public Library. On the agenda for consideration is Ordinance 2022-08-02. The purpose of this Text Amendment Ordinance is to comply with the 2020 FEMA Model Ordinance, to update Stormwater Management Plan Requirements and to update the Sewer Use Ordinance. The meeting will be livestreamed to the county website and a copy of the plans and supporting documentation is available at the Camden County Planning Office or from the Camden County Website (camdencountync.gov) on the home page.  The public is invited to attend and make comments to the board. After the public hearing any changes may be made to the application.
