  • 08:30am  Board of Commissioners

    The Camden County Board of Commissioners will meet in the boardroom of the Camden Public Library on December 2, 2024 at 8:30 AM for its annual Organizational Meeting and December Regular Meeting.  The Board of Commissioners will also convene as the South Camden Water & Sewer District Board of Directors during the Regular Meeting.  A closed session will follow for discussion of economic development and personnel and consultation with the county attorney in regard to litigation (Horseshoe Farms HOA, Inc v Camden County, Brookins and Lace and Fay Financial LLC, et al v Camden Planning Board and Camden BOA) and potential litigation.

    All Regular Meetings are held in the boardroom of the Camden Public Library (118 Hwy 343 North), Camden County, North Carolina, 27921.  Special accommodations for the disabled who would like to attend public meetings can be made by contacting the Clerk to the Board at least 24 hours in advance at 252-338-6363.

    Baby Storytime

    This storytime is for ages birth to 2 years-old (Must be accompanied by a parent)

    • Free and open to the public. No registration is required. 

    Join us for Baby Storytime every Tuesday at 10:00 AM.

    We will be reading stories, sharing early literacy tips, and singing songs!

    There will be time for free play with the library's collection of baby toys at the end of each session.

    Come join us for BINGO every Tuesday @ 1:00pm!

    Must be a member of the Camden County Center for Active Adults (Senior Center) to play!

    This is a free event.

    We will be reading stories, sharing early literacy tips, singing songs and playing games!
    A small craft will be offered at the end of each storytime session.

    This program is intended for adults and teenagers over 16 years old. Registration is required. Please click the link below to register.

     
     

    Come join us for a fun and creative Holiday Card Workshop with the talented Maria Geary from Relaxing In Art! Get into the festive spirit and learn how to make beautiful handmade holiday cards to send to your loved ones this season.

    All materials will be provided, just bring your creativity and holiday cheer! Don't miss out on this opportunity to make personalized cards that will surely spread joy and warmth to everyone who receives them.

    There will also be supplies and examples available to create non-holiday cards, so if the Christmas season isn't for you, that's okay too!

    Pre-registration is required. Please bring a batch of your favorite Christmas cookies!

  • 03:30pm  Library Christmas Ornament Workshop

    Join us on December 5th to create your own Christmas keepsake using fuse beads!
    We will have all supplies on hand for your child to make a unique Christmas ornament that will last for years to come.
    This program is free and open to the public, and is intended for children ages 5 and up.

    Intended for teens ages 12 and older (parents are welcome to join!).
