07:00pm Board of Commissioners - Special Meeting
Camden County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Monday, March 20, 2017 at 7:00 PM in the upstairs courtroom of the Historic Camden County Courthouse to consider Ordinance 2017-03-01 for placement of a 60 day Moratorium on Solar Farms in Camden County.
The public is invited to attend this meeting and make comments to the Board.
A copy of the Ordinance may be reviewed in the Camden County Planning Office. Substantial changes may be made to the proposed ordinance following the public hearing.

For Students in Grades 2 -6
Hands-on learning sessions with age appropriate technology in the form of Makey Makey, Little Bits, Cublets and film editing apps. At the end of the program, participants will receive a copy of Gene Luen Yang's graphic novel "Secret Coders".
Program Schedule:
March 11 at 2pm: Let’s Makey Makey Music
- Using Makey Makey to create musical instruments
March 25 at 2pm: I’m Forever Blowing Bubbles
- Creating a bubble machine with Little Bits
April 8 at 2pm: Domo Arigato, Build a Roboto
- Building robots using Cubelets
April 22 at 2pm: The Show Must Go On
- Filming a scene from a book
This Makerspace program is funded by the 2016 Strengthening Communities Through Libraries Grant through the Association for Library Service to Children and the Dollar General Literacy Foundation. Camden County Public Library was one of the 12 winners from across the country.
