The North Carolina Wildlife Federation and Wildlife Habitat Stewards of Northeastern NC Chapter will be hosting a Fall Native Plant Sale, Sunday, October 13th from 1:00pm - 3:00pm at the Camden Public Library.

Shop their collection of southeastern native perennials, grown locally in Edenton by Wetland Plants, Inc, an exclusively native plant nursery. The collection will include:

Blue Mistflower, Swamp milkweed, Spotted Joe-Pye-Weed, Oxeye sunflower, and Seaside goldenrod.

Each plant will be sold in a 4x6" ecofriendly, biodegradable, cloth plant bag with instructions for planting at a cost of $5 each.

Planting native species is beneficial because they offer essential food and habitats for wildlife, ensuring their survival. They demand minimal upkeep, conserve water, naturally control pests, and promote environmental sustainability.
