  • 10:00am  Library Baby Storytime

    Baby Storytime

    This storytime is for ages birth to 2 years-old (Must be accompanied by a parent)

    • Free and open to the public. No registration is required. 

    Join us for Baby Storytime every Tuesday at 10:00 AM.

    We will be reading stories, sharing early literacy tips, and singing songs!

    There will be time for free play with the library's collection of baby toys at the end of each session.

  • 05:00pm  DSS Board Meeting

    Camden County DSS Board Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month, with exceptions as noted below. 

    Exceptions:  DSS Board does not meet on Tuesdays that fall on State Holidays.  In such cases, a separate listing will be created with the new date.

    A small craft will be offered at the end of each storytime session.

  • 09:00am - 03:00pm  Co-op Ext. Camp Cale Days

    Come enjoy a trip out to Camp Cale complete with a cookout. There will be opportunity to fish, climb the rock wall, shoot archery and more!

    Ages: 8 - 16 (Students will be divided into older and younger groups upon arrival)

    Cost: Free (lunch provided; however, you may provided lunch if you prefer)

    This storytime is for ages 4 to 6 years-old (Must be accompanied by a parent)

    • Free and open to the public. No registration is required.
    Join us for Big Kid Storytime every Tuesday at 10:30 AM.
    We will be reading stories, sharing early literacy tips, singing songs and playing games!
    There will be a small craft available at the end of each storytime session.

  • 03:30pm  Library/Co-op Ext. Learn to Make Program

    Learn to Make: St. Patrick's Day Rice Krispy Treats - Thursday, March 16th at 3:30pm!
     
    Please note: Registration is required for this program. Click here to register.
     
    Join us for an afternoon of fun and learning with Olivia Patchel from NC Cooperative Extension. Dietary restrictions can easily be accommodated, so please make sure to note your child's particular needs within the registration form.
     
    There are only 12 spots available for this program, so you must register early! Any extra applicants will be put on a waiting list if someone cancels, and will be given priority registration for the next cooking program.
    This program is free and open to the public, and intended for children ages 5 to 10 years old. If you have any questions or concerns, please call the library at (252) 331-2543.

  • 10:00am - 05:00pm  Library St. Patrick's Day Craft Drop-In

    Drop by the library anytime from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM to create a St. Patrick's Day themed craft! We will have all of the supplies handy, all you need is your imagination and maybe a little luck!
    This program is free and open to the public, and intended for children of all ages.
