Question | Some visions for the CM at Risk delivery method have the CM involved in the designer and/or GC and possibly subcontractor selection process. What is Camden County’s vision of the role of the CM? |

Answer | Not at this time. |
Question | Does Camden County have a construction sequence preference for the three buildings and is simultaneous work on all three acceptable? |
Answer | If the cost is acceptable we would like to see all buildings constructed at the same time. If the cost is more than the County is willing to spend then this will become a phased project with the priority being the Library and Civic Center / Senior Center. The administration building will have to wait. |
Question | Is it mandatory that the three building functions be implemented as separate structures? |
Answer | No. This was the design the commissioners agreed would meet the community and staff needs. However, if there is a better way of combining all the county services using a different approach they would be open to seeing it. The location of the administration building across the street from the historic courthouse and maintain the traditional design was carefully discussed and it was decided this was the look and location they desired. |
