The Camden County Parks & Recreation Department announces it's annual Wintergreen Ski & Snowboard Trip... Trip date is January 20, 2015. Participants will leave from the Camden County Courthouse parking lot at 6:30 am and return approximately 9:00 pm. Registration fee is $130.00 (payable to Roger Morgan). Registration deadline is January 13, 2015. Participants must be 12 years old or accompanied by an adult / legal guardian.

Library Book Club for Teen Boys
Camden Library proudly presents a book club for teen boys. This is for ages 13 to 18. The first meeting will be held Wednesday, September 9th at 5 p.m. This is a free program and no registration is required.
Elizabeth City State University and its community partner, The Great Dismal Swamp State Park, will host the Chancellor's Color Run on September 12, 2015. This unique 5K run will feature color stations throughout the course- an exciting twist to promoting a healthy lifestyle. Registration is $35 and will include a memorable t-shirt and box lunch. In addition to the Chancellor's Color Run, free health screenings and local vendors will be available to the public.
In celebration of this Health & Fitness Day, we welcome vendors including local gyms, physical therapists, chiropractors, acupuncturists, supplement shops, bike shops, kayak stores, dance studios, and other health- and fitness-related industries. We also welcome any groups or businesses who would like to join us for some fun in the sun. ECSU and the Great Dismal Swamp will also have various outdoor activities including corn hole, volleyball, and walking trail. Bicycles and kayaks will be available for rent or you can bring your own!
